5 week 6 day ultrasound

Hi everyone!

I had an early scan due to possible ectopic. Gladly that was ruled out, as baby is in my uterus.

But I dont know if I should be concerned, there was a sac and yolk detected, but no fetal pole or heartbeat. Is this normal at this early stage? I'm trying not to be worried, but I'm just a ball of anxiety.

Hey. Ya totally normal for this stage. Very hard to pinpoint how far you are so early it’s often a few days out by this point. A scan even a week later could show a lot more xx

Yes totally normal for how far u are. Give a week r so and good possibility you will see the heartbeat.

Totally normal for where you are. I needed a scan between 5/6 weeks and they were very very clear that most likely wouldnt see anything and would have to come back.
