I'm getting a little concerned. I feel guilty but every morning my LO watches Finding Nemo from start to finish. She coos and shouts excitedly whilst jumping in her jumperoo. Problem is, she always likes to have it on in the background whether shes playing with her toys or whatever. She will play with toys but only for 20 mins ish at a time, then gets fed up! Is this obsession with Nemo this bad for her?
I used to limit Jackson's use of the TV when he was smaller because he literally wouldnt ever take his eyes off when its on. We did 30 min bursts too, so it wasnt constant! Perhaps get the Nemo sound track and let her listen to that as she plays? I dont think some TV will hurt of course, but I wouldnt put it on all the time. xxx
We have a morning/afternoon rule now. Like hers up and had breakfast. He can have TV on from either 10am120 OR from 2pm-4pm. It goes off for tea and sometimes goes bdvk in for bedtime TV at 5-6 then off 6-7.
