Intermittent fasting is a crazy that does actually work, but doesn't always get you those quick results like low carb diets will. I did with an 8 hour eating window per day and lost a lot of weight the first weeks (water weight), but later it slowed down.

They do work though, and are also proven to be healthy. Do it 5 days a week with a 6 to 8 hour eating window and see how you like it!
 
I did this and lost 13lbs in just under 5 weeks..
Kept that off aswell as a further 6lb in 4 weeks from healthy eating and 30 day shred dvd xx
 
Lol no u dont starve...

If you google TDEE it works out you cal intake allowance for the 5 days.. 1500/2000 normally. Thrn for 2 days (any 2 random days u like!) you eat 500cals.
Its actually really easy!
