4 year old and sore penis?

Hi. My son is 4 and told me last night his penis hurts. I had a look and the tip looks abit red, but not sure if it normally looks like this?
First thing he said to me this morning, was his penis hurts. Doesn't seem to be bothering him and he goes to pee no problem.
Any ideas? Should I take him to dr? Thanks. xxx

Keep an eye - if it gets any worse or more inflamed I'd take him along or if he conplains about it on several occasions

Thanks, I took him to the dr yesterday and its indeed infected, so have some cream to use. Already doing better today.
