Since 9pm last night Harrison has been awake & feeding every 40minutes to an hour! I'm exhausted. When he's feeding he is literally guzzling it, like he's never been fed, and between feeds he is unsettled & grizzly unless he's being held. He's so tired aswell, massive bags under his eyes, but still won't sleep!

Is this the first of the leaps? If so how long does it last?

He's got his tongue tie appt today and I was already dreading it, but now I dont know how we are going to get out the door?!

Hi SaraLouise,

The first LEAP normally starts between 4.5 - 5.5 weeks - remember to take into account where bab was early / on time / late!

Usual symptoms are wanting more contact, wants to feed a lot more and crying without reason. LEAP 1 usually lasts 1 week.

There is a great App called "The Wonder Weeks" - £1.49 which guides you through each LEAP, pre-warning of when it starts / what the symptoms are / how best to soothe / when it is finishing. I was not convinced at first, but I've found it to be pretty spot on so far xxx
