36Week MW Visit At Home?

    I've just been flicking through my Maternity Notes & i noticed that it says that my MW comes to visit me at home when i am 36 weeks gone..

    Why?

    I think its to make things easier for you as there should be no 'medical' things needing to be done like getting bloods done and stuff.

    I don't think there is much point in having it at home though as you go back to the surgery for all the rest after that - when your even bigger and more uncomfortable!

    Oh well!!

    My GP surgery is like a stones throw away from my front door !

    some midwifes come to your house to go through your birth plan at this stage
