3 month check at hospital?

Is it normal to have 3 month check for LO with the paediatrician at hospital? I didn't think much of it when I was sent the letter but now I'm wondering what it's for. Surely the HV/GP does all the checks (we've had the 6 week checks).

Did anything go wrong at birth?

My lo had a 3 month check as she had complications. They just wanted to make sure she was progressing as she should. She's got another check at 6 months too.

Fairly straightforward birth, came out in mec as he was 13 days late, but he has an issue with his hand - but that's being dealt with by some specialists who we've been referred to

I have no idea then, sorry hun! Maybe give them a call to ask? Or ask your GP?
