3 meals a day,

Hi,

I am 5 weeks pregnant, have just discovered. I rarely eat breakfast and usually have a small snacky lunch and then a big dinner.

Can I carry on doing this or should I really switch to 3 meals a day? I am never hungry in the morning. Usually have a cereal bar about 11am but don't eat before that. As my body has been eating this way for years and is used to it should I change it now?

I'm not a professional and I'm not an experienced pregnant lady myself, but after reading a hell of a lot about pregnancy (Yep I'm like a walking dictionary on pregnancy the past year) during the first trimester you can stick to eating how you ate before you were pregnant, but of course with a slight change in what you eat instead. Eating things your baby needs for example, and things to keep yourself fit and healthy for a newborn baby :) I wouldn't worry about your eating routine, your eating habits are probably going to change a lot the next few months anyway, you may become more hungry in time!

I'm not a big morning eater myself either.
