22 weeks pregnant staphylococcus infection!

Hello ladies,English isn't my first language, so please excuse any mistakes. I am 22 weeks pregnant and I was spotting only for one day, I went to doctor had ultrasound everything was ok with the baby but vaginal fluid examinations have come back saying that I have a vaginal staph infection, I am terrified it will harm my baby!!! Has anyone heared about this infection while pregnant?

From my quick look into it. It looks like it is something treated with antibiotics and does not harm baby as far as I can see. I'm sure your midwife will be able to advise you further into this. I'm sure if there was any concerns the doctor would have said something.
