1st appt to see midwife tomorrow (6+3)

Hi,

I'm just over 6 weeks pregnant, very excited to be seeing midwife tomorrow for the first time. Was surprised that I didn't have to see a GP first (I rang up the surgery when I first got my BFP) and they said I just book in to meet the midwife sometime between 6-8 weeks usually. so here I am...

appointment is tomorrow - I don't think they will do a lot - just lots of forms to fill in and questions etc. But starts to make things feel a bit more real at last..

Anyone else got their first midwife apt this week ?

Me!!! I have mine Thursday. Found out two weeks ago but was on holiday last week so had to wait for my first appointment! I didn't have to see doc either- I remember with my first I did (she's 12 now tho!) and then with my second (7) I called up and they said I didn't need to see a doc anymore and just to wait for midwife app. So this is my third and I'm still just as scared/nervous/excited as first time!

I've been told I have to wait until 8 weeks! They actually do an antinatal clinic at my docs surgery along with the community midwife, but they were very clear that i could not attend until 8 weeks...

Im 4 weeks and 5 days and I got my 1st midwife appointment today in an hour! !
