Should I be concerned about this bp reading? I've never ever before had high bp. And midwife today wasn't that nice :-(

It depends on age an ideal bp is your age plus 100 or under so if your 25 then 125 & under is fine! Anything below 90 is considered low bp also!

Hope this helps!

Sorry you had a crap midwife some are not great ive had my fair share!

Sorry I'm stalking Tri 2 as nothing much going on in Tri 1 tonight!
Your BP is normal babes. I'm a nurse and I worked in a hypertension clinic many years ago - they should actually take it three times (but never do) as you relax a bit more each time it's taken, it would probably have gone down even more, but still normal as it is.x

My last midwife appointment my blood pressure was 135/90 i was slightly worried but midwife said it was fine, i was shocked yesterday when it was taken it was 132/74. Iv never known my blood pressure to be so low, i was so pleased, iv had pre-eclampsia in my previous 3 pregnancies resulting in 2 of my babies being delivered early (30 weeks & 32 weeks) with my last pregnancy my blood pressure went up too 174/119 and i was rushed straight to theatre.
If im remembering it right a slightly high bp is between 140/90 and 149/99
moderatly high bp is between 150/100 and 159/109
and severly high is over 160/110
Im sure thats what i was told last time
xxx
