12 week scan

Hey Ladies!

So, I had my 12 week scan this morning - and it was perfect!! Soooo relieved!

Dates a pretty much spot on for my ticker - due date around Valentines Day!!

Downs Syndrome test came back very low risk.

All babies measurements were good, and baby seems happy and healthy and looking lovely!!

Totally chuffed!!

Jojo84 - the whole process didn't take longer than 30 mins.

I was surprised by the pressure they use on your tummy, but baby came up straight away with heartbeat.

She had to do a lot of prodding and wait for baby to move a little before she could take the neck measurement for Downs test, but that just meant we had more time to watch!

Yes, think officiall due date is 15th Feb - but hey, give or take a day!!

Because I had my bloods taken by the midwife at just after 10 weeks, and they were in the system, I could get the Downs test on the spot at the scan as soon as she took the measurement.

I wanted to coz of my age - but score was 1:4800 - very low risk, so doubly chuffed!
