My 1 year old DD seems to be constipated and has real trouble going sometimes :( and most of the time when she does go, her stools are very firm. I try to get her to drink water, but she will only drink it when she feels like it. She has jars for dinner and also meals that we have when they are suitable for her. She has fruit at least twice a day too. I don't want to give her juice as it is very bad for their teeth and water and milk are fine for her.

Any advise on what I can do too stop constipation would be greatly appreciated :) x x

My dd is the same, seems to come and go so when she's having a bout of it I do the following:
. Chop up prunes and mix in with her porridge for breakfast
. Mix a tiny bit of Apple juice in with her water
. Give her pears and oranges for snacks/puddings (these seem to be the best fruit for getting things moving)
Hopefully this helps?!

Pears! They always get things moving and taste yummy too :)
