£3 on school shoes bargin

Hi how much did you spend on school shoes this year ? My 11 year old son started secondary school last September his school has a jumper and polo shirt uniform. His school recomends plain black lace up canvas pumps as an alternative to school shoes. So my son wears plain black lace up plimsolls as school shoes they only cost £3 he is on his 2nd pair since September. I will need to buy him a new pairs soon though as his current ones look a bit worse for wear and they could fall apart soon.

My daughter has to wear supportive boots so we got her doc martins in total we spent £54 thanks to the outlet store that included extra laces ribbons and special cleaning stuff. They still look perfect now so unless she has a massive growth spurt she will be in them until July
