  • Thank you for your reply. I've only had the 'doubled' over pain a couple of times, once yesterday eve and before that was a couple of nights earlier. I think if i get it again then I'll get checked out. No bleeding. I haven't seen a midwife yet - got first antenatal appointment on 8th June at the hospital. Only seen the doc so far when I found out last week I was pregnant.

EDD - yes - I reckon it was somewhere between 9th - 13th April that my last period started.

Will give the lactulose a go. Cramps might also have something to do with slight change in diet as am on a low salt diet due to genetic condition of high blood pressure. Perhaps the cramping is related to indigestion. I've never really suffered from any food related pains such as indigestion/heart burt/IBS so not really sure what it feels like!!

Will defo give the warm milk a go. x
    Hello!

If I were you id go to A&E with the pain
Whilst cramping is normal, being doubled over in so much pain isn't!

Did the midwife feel at your yum?
    She can guesstimate that way
The only acceptable time I've noticed really bad pain is around 12 weeks with ligaments stretching
If you do go to A&e though, the scan will tell them how far on you are!

For your EDD to be the 18th, your last period must have started on April 13th. Does that seem about right?

    Constipation is normal
Id ask the go for lactulose and eat plenty fibre and fruit juice
Your digestion is slower so you'd more likely have indigestion than lower cramping from eating certain foods

Tmi but when did you last go to the loo? You may be stopped up!

    Insomnia is part of pregnancy
They suggest warm milk before bed
Most of us have the opposite problem and can't keep our eyes open!! X
